One of the most important things in movies is continuity. Attention to the most minute detail makes even movies about ice princesses and talking animals believable. Continuity means that if in the movie La La Land, Ryan Gosling plays Sebastian Wilder in the first scene, he should probably keep the role throughout the movie and not, lets say, be replaced halfway through by Leonardo diCaprio. Okay, so huge mistakes typically don’t happen in movies. There are people whose job it is to make sure of that. But sometimes, things slip between the cracks – like, for example, a character might be wearing a white shirt at the beginning of a scene that magically turns green half-way through. It happens.
But not just in real movies, where real people are playing the characters. It happens in animated films too, where the artists drawing the scenes, you would think, should have total control over all the details at all times but somehow manage to miss anyhow. We’ve collected 11 of these bloopers that you probably missed when you watched the movie the first time (or the second, or the tenth).
